IT Architect

Basic Function
Responsibility is to support tactical and strategic business needs by building and maintaining a sustainable IT ecosystem designed to automate business processes and optimize, as applicable. Will work closely with CTO and business stakeholders to architect solutions designed to improve productivity and create efficiencies across all business functions within the company.
Duties Include:
• Working with various areas of the business to build scalable and repeatable solutions to business problems using Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 and associated processes
• Partnering with business stakeholders and technical team to continually evaluate and optimize existing tools and processes supporting various business functions
• Providing support to users of Dynamics AX on day-to-day maintenance issues
• Providing support on issues related to Company Intranet
• Performing periodic compliance audits (PCI) and implements remediation, as identified
• Performing server maintenance activities as needed
• Developing and implementing standards and industry best practices for process and tools
• Creating and maintaining documentation of business process, tools and IT process
• Serving as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior members of the team
• Staying abreast of industry trends and incorporating into system architecture, as applicable
• Performing periodic quality audits of the codebase and systems to ensure conformance to best practices
Experience:
• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years experience as a Solutions Architect
• 10+ Years of hands on architecture, development and IT systems support experience
• 5+ years of hands on experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX
• 10 + years relevant knowledge and experience in .NET application / MS SQL development
• Proficient in the following technologies: MS SQL (t-SQL) and Microsoft C# & X++
• 5+ Years of Network infrastructure management experience including Cisco Routers
• Experience defining and enforcing standards and best practices within an IT organization
• Excellent communications skills (oral, written, and presentation)
