April 29, 2013 – I-5 Publishing LLC announced today that Christopher Reggio had joined the company as the General Manager for its book division, I-5 Press. Reggio, in this newly created role, will oversee all book development and sales.
“Chris brings tremendous value to the role,” said I-5 Publishing CEO Mark Harris. “His experience in publishing for the pet industry allows him to hit the ground running, and his tenure at other high-end specialty publishers gives him great perspective and insight in developing our catalog to encompass many types of enthusiast communities.”
I-5 Press is the new home to book titles acquired from BowTie Inc., in the purchase of its assets in early February. Titles range from the award-winning Dog Heroes of September 11th to Proficient Motorcycling, with a back catalog focused primarily on care manuals for a wide variety of species and breeds. Recent releases have included Can It!, Shifting Gears After 50 and Urban Farming.

Reggio is a 7-year veteran of the pet industry, having headed up book and magazine publishing for Central Garden and Pet division TFH Publishing. In that role, he also served as the book category manager for Petco. Prior to TFH, he served in leadership roles at Readers Digest Trade Publishing, and specialty publishers Graphis and te Neues.
